Jason S. Baker
Jason Baker is regarded as one of Houston's most professional and knowledgeable retail brokers, with more than 15 years of experience serving some of the nation's top retail brands including OfficeMax, Citigroup, Party City, FedEx Office and Advance Auto Parts. He has also worked with numerous shopping center owners and developers including Regency Centers, Kimco Realty, Westwood Financial, Sueba Commercial Realty, Excess Space and Realty Income. Jason is well known for his outstanding commitment to his clients and diligence improving their sites through the development and execution of successful expansion strategies throughout the greater Houston area.Jason has been featured on Houston Business Journal's "Heavy Hitter" list consistently since 2001. He is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, CCIM Institute and served as the president of X-Team International, an international alliance of retail real estate advisors with expertise in more than 45 major markets throughout the U.S., Canada and Europe. He also served as a member of the board of directors of Boys and Girls Country from 2001-2005, and is a former board member of the CCIM/Gulf Coast Chapter.
A Houston native, Jason graduated from Texas A&M University in 1995 and joined Wulfe & Co., a retail real estate consulting and development firm based in Houston. After working at Wulfe for the better part of a decade, Jason and his fellow colleague, Kenneth S. Katz, realized they shared a unique vision for commercial real estate consulting and opened Baker Katz in December of 2004.
In addition to serving his clients, Jason enjoys spending time with his family, serving his church, and experiencing the outdoors.
